Today, Apple announced that iOS 6 is to be released on September 19th 2012 . They also shared a final, Gold Master, version of iOS 6 to developers shortly after that announced. This is that GM copy for the iPhone 4S. For those who are unfamiliar, a Gold Master is the same version that will be released to the public.
